so for some reason, i have this issue where the main ELS lights aren't flashing, only the brake lights and headlights. i've tried all the main solutions, updating the els and advancedhook files, reinstalling the ASI loader, reinstalling RageNativeUI, and nothing seems to work. anyone have any ideas for any other solution? images attached below to show u what i mean

i think it was legit just renaming LSPDFR to _LSPDFR and back, idk how but it's magically disappeared once i did that.

so i've done that, plus some other default troubleshooting like renaming mods to _mods etc, and the default game seems to work now, as in the sound isn't playing anymore. not sure how or why, but it's definitely stopped. thanks for your help! if i find it starts playing again, do i make a new post or reply to this one?

anyone know what this very annoying chiming noise is? it keeps playing every 10-20 seconds and i have no clue which mod it's coming from, or how i would even begin to search, thought i might as well ask to see if anyone else has had the same thing. heres a video to show what i'm on about: https://streamable.com/i6tr8i lmk if you need a new link update: ive just noticed it becomes a lot more frequent the faster my car goes, if that helps

so i have this issue that whenever i have the mods folder named to just "mods", i get an infinite loading screen. this is fixed when i rename it to _mods, however, then none of the vehicles i replaced actually load in. and yes, i've just completely reinstalled everything in my mods folder, including my plugins folder. does anyone know another way i can fix the infinite loading screen without renaming mods??

RagePluginHook_25052024_210353.log i have now completely reinstalled everything from my plugins folder and cleared out my mods folder. the "steam client" error somehow fixed itself, but ironically, now the game crashes as soon as it starts. log attached

ive just reinstalled gta, updated it, updated shv, updated rph, and no matter what, whenever i try to open rph, it comes up with the message "steam failed to initialize. please verify that the steam client is running and try again". ive looked at a post similar to this and tried sorting it with the solution posted there, but it still isnt working. ive also tried running as administrator, renaming mods to _mods, and nothings working. video attached for reference. normal gta 5 game, without rph, runs fine 2024-05-23 20-14-53.mp4 e. game just crashed again, though i have added a new pack, i'll send the log once it eventually comes through

right i have done some faffing around, and turns out one car i added caused this whole thing. who knew accidentally adding a fivem car instead of an SP add-on would retard your whole game back to its old settings 😅 thanks for your help lol
