The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

What do I need to know about how to play?

Got the game installed and created my first character, but I'm not sure how the general gameplay loop works here. Can I arrest people? Went on one callout and just ended up chasing a dude down and braining him with the butt of my gun and that was mission accomplished lol. I feel like I need a tutorial?

If you want to have the full experience, I recommend looking up LSPDFR tutorials on YouTube. There are some popular channels that will walk you through it.

Main question I'm wondering about right now is if I have Stop The Ped, should I go and completely unbind all the ped related stuff in the main LSPDFR ini? A lot of it seems to overlap and do the same stuff, like LSPDFR has a mechanic for stopping pedestrians, obviously so does Stop The Ped. I should just learn the keybinds of it and not worry about vanilla mod stuff right?

I recommend after downloading LSPDFR, go to the website which is Bejojo Plugins and download Stop the pedal, Compulite, Ultimate backup, simple callouts and attempted crime callouts. LSPDFR main basic functions are very basic. The only function for LSPDFR that's good is the backup feature. If you have a controller you push the R3 and you can quickly call for backup. Once you do that, you can add Police vehicles and more callouts from the LSPDFR website. I wouldn't go too crazy with vehicles tho. For me, I have like 8 different police vehicles and several callout plugins. Just because i don't want my game to consistently crash. When you add callout plugins, I suggest installing 2 or 3 at a time then loading into the game to make sure everything is working fine. If it is then add 2 or 3 more. Outside of LSPDFR website plugins and police vehicles, I also have Real California Architecture, Roads of Europe and GTA V remastered installed. These 3, you need to install from GTA V mods.com. I highly recommend watching YouTube videos on these before installing as mods on GTA V mods.com are little different than mods and plugins from LSPDFR.com. That's pretty much it. This way it's not too vanilla but you also don't want overload your game with mods and make sure you DONT play the game online as you will get banned.

There are ads that pop up, just close them and ignore them

Also, I recommend watching Geoffrey Gamer on how to backup your game. Because rockstar will randomly update the game and when they do you might have to 3-4 days for LSPDFR, RAGE PLUGIN HOOK (which is included in LSPDFR download) and SCRIPT HOOK to update.

This That Raven1 said is important and the way you do this best is to have TWO full GTAV-folders
You then rename the one with lspdfr when you play on-line, and rename the vanilla-one when you play lspdfr, because obviously you cant have to sub-folders named GTAV in the same folder.. doh..
Lastly you set AUTO-Update to OFF, in your game-launcher. That way you never have your lspdfr version blocked by a R* update

See my plugin here:

Let me know if you find it interesting.
Best Regards.

Hi GTABear,

In regards to your concern about duplicate actions with different key binds what I did in my game was to disable the duplicate binds so I can just focus and use to what I want. In my case, I have LSPDFR and Stop the Ped. STP has a lot of similar actions from the base mod LSPDFR so what I did was to disable from the base mod such as arresting and cuffing suspects. As all other plugins you can use available in this website, you can always go over their ini file and customize the keys. Just be sure to not overlap them to one another as it might cause unwanted behavior while you are playing.

Hope this helps, have a good one mate! 🙂
