Disable sirens for units already at crime scenes

Featured Replies

Most of the time, when I respond to a "shots fired" call, the police cars parked on scene have their sirens turned on, despite no officers being in the cars.  Besides being unrealistic, this is quite irritating, especially when the crime scene is cleared and I walk outside to be greeted by 4 or 5 wailing sirens.

If this is a bug, it would be nice to get it fixed.  Otherwise, please consider altering the code so the spawned police cars have only lights activated, with no sirens.

Thanks for reading.

If theres a shoot-out, im not going to take the extra 2 seconds to turn the siren off, even if you watch cops, when they run after someone they leave it on until he or another officer can get back after and shut it off.

Yea same here.. When I respond to a shoot-out I just usually jump out of the car and then when the suspects are down I might go back into my car and turn the sirens off.

You cannot do anything about this because the fallout procedure is hard coded into the mod's asi file. The only way to fix it is to contact the developers via their support or suggestions forum on this site's and request it to be fixed for the next update.
