LSPDFR crashes as soon as I start playing, or when I go on duty

LSPDFR crashes either as soon as I start the game, or as soon as I start playing. It's making it literally impossible to play. I've put in the last 3 logs from when it happened.

I did edit a few things there, but I spent at least 5 hours doing so to get the patrol cars/units right. Is there any way to fix this without having to revert all that work?

hello there

upload the file here, like you did with the log, ill take a look at it, sometimes it could mean a simple , is missing and could throw off the rest of the file making it crash

dont expect a quick turnaround tho , im at work atm and wont be getting off for another 2 hours , but when i do get off, ill download the file , and compair it to a defualt one , and see if anything looks out of place

i see a error already

with out even looking over the defualt file

in your area that has <Ped chance=

this number should add up to 100

yours counted add up to 145

so you have too many listed

 # The "Ped" entry has the following attributes:
      - "chance" is the random probability for the ped model to be chosen (0-100)     (mandatory if you have more than 1 entry and the total chance inside this group should add up to 100)
      - "random_props" is the flag (value: "True" or "False") to turn on/off random ped properties (hats, glasses, ears, and watches). By default, it is set to "True".
      - "rain_outfit" is the flag (value: "True" or "False") whether the outfit is for rainy weather. UB will always choose this outfit during rainy weather.
      - "snow_outfit" is the flag (value: "True" or "False") whether the outfit is for snowy weather. UB will always choose this outfit during snowy weather.
        * notes: The "chance" calculation for Ped entries that have "rain_outfit" and "snow_outfit" is separated

Oh wow, I don't even remember changing that. So I'm assuming that the vehicle one has to be 100 as well?

yea looks like it

# The "Vehicle" entry has the following attributes:
      - "chance" is the random probability for the vehicle model to be chosen (0-100) (mandatory if you have more than 1 entry and the total chance inside this group should add up to 100)
      - "pax" is the number of police passenger in the vehicle. This attribute will have no effect on "Ambulance" and "FireTruck" units
      - "pax_chance" is the chance that the vehicle will have passengers(s) (0-100)
      - "livery" the livery number on vehicle model (the first livery index is "1")
      - "color" the color of the vehicle. It might be a "integer number" or "color name" (from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.drawing.color?view=netframework-4.6.1 )
      - "extra_1" to "extra_12" is the vehicle extras. ("True" or "False")

this info is at the top of the xml file btw (incase you were wondering where i was getting this info from)

Alrighty, so would I be able to get rid of the sections with the jackets and coats for less clutter and then change the values of the ped chances to like, 50, 10, 5, 15, etc. so they all add up to 100? And for the vehicles, can I use decimals or does it have to be a whole number?

That might be a problem, I have 3 vehicles in a few slots and for them to add up to 100 they'd have to be 33.3333333 each or something like that.

or you could do what the orginal file has

33 33 34

                    <Vehicle chance="33" pax="1" pax_chance="40">POLICE</Vehicle>
                    <Vehicle chance="33" pax="1" pax_chance="25">POLICE2</Vehicle>
                    <Vehicle chance="34" pax="1" pax_chance="25">POLICE3</Vehicle>

That would work, but for the ped chance thing, how would I change all of those? There's a ton that I'd have to change, maybe 30 in each section.

could do 16 of them with 3 in each, and then 13 of them with 4

3*16=48

4*13=52

52+48=100

13+16=29

you have 29 ped listings in the first section (i dint count the rest)

so you could try something like that

Alright, and this is the thing crashing my game right?

not a 100% sure, but i beleave it is as thoes numbers should add up to 100, only way to tell is for you to reedit them and see if it works

you could also make a backup of that file , and install the orginal one and try to run the game, if it doesnt crash on the orginal file, then it has to be your edited version, altho, im guessing its cuz thoes numbers dont add up to 100 and go over
