Stop The Ped Custom Items linking to Narcotics Field Test

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I need some help. I want to create my own search-Items, which is a list of specific drugs/narcotics, which I know how to do that, but the only thing I can't figure out is how you link the drug item to the right Stop The Ped "Narcotics Field Test" drug list. For example say I want to add Benzo's pills as an Item. When you find it in the car or on the Ped and you field test it, how do you link it to the right drug in the list. Benzo's come in blue and white pills and I don't want to test it and the Field Test tells me it's Heroin or Meth for example because that is wrong.

Thanks

Take a look at the StopThePed.ini.

// The registered strings/words which will be used to detect suspiciuos substance in search items. It will be used by "Narcotics Field Test".
// You may modify these words according to the language on your search items
SuspiciousSubstancePowder=powder
SuspiciousSubstancePill=pill
SuspiciousSubstanceTablet=tablet
SuspiciousSubstanceCapsule=capsule
SuspiciousSubstanceCrystal=crystal
SuspiciousSubstanceLiquid=liquid
SuspiciousSubstanceBlotterPaper=blotter paper

As long as the item from your item xmls contains the word "pill" like "big white pill" for example, it'll register for the narcotic fields test.

If you mean forcing "a big white pill" to come back as fentanyl (just an example) every time. I don't think you can force that.

Lenny,

Thanks mate your a star!! But on the list of drugs on the Field Test, for example Scott Reagent is (Cocaine) I think, can you add your own Custom drug to that list? I've tried searching Config files but can't see anything.

You can add the drugs to the list of items which can be found on a ped/a car. If the drug contains the keyword as I mentioned above, it'll work with the test kits that are designed for the specific drug.
If you are talking about adding/changing the test kit names, you'll need to modify the localization.ini of STP.
