When I run the game after installing extended camera settings I get this message error after the game finishes loading

It looks like the software needs an update, look on the comments for the plugin on the download site 

@OfficerChris1 thanks brother ! that helped me out i checked the comments on the download site and i guess the gta update broke the mod ! so everyone is waiting for a new update . thanks again for leading me in the right direction .

if your still waiting for a update for that mod, you can try this one, i switched over to this mod as it has the same feature as the extended camera for first person driving

and you can also set it per car 

"Manual Transmission | Steering wheel support 5.5.1"

the camera setting are hidden under misc options tab

@cakuzma does it offer the fov where you can see the full width of the wind shield as well as the police computer ?

yea it does

I added 3 more screenshots showing the camera settings , the max you can go up to is 120

65 fov (my default)

75 fov

Max Fov 120

Be aware that there was a update to the Manual Transmission Mod where the creator removed the camera feature but he made it a separate mod as he said it got too big to be put into the Manual Transmisison mod itself

mind you, i haven't played played gta in almost a year now (got too annoying to have to backup every patch) so i dunno if the mod works anymore, any issues you should ask on that page
