One issue I've had with UltimateBackup for a few months now is that when I try to call in units, no matter if it's a code 2, code 3, or felony response, sometimes their cars spawn with all the lights being steady, or only small bits of the lights being on. Haven't tried with special units since I don't use them often, but I suspect it'll be the same issue. There was another issue where the sirens of units continue to stay on, even after they leave their vehicles. I've tried to get help for this on the ULSS and RPH discord servers, but to no avail. I'll try the forums to see if I can finally get this fixed. Attached is my RPH log and a screenshot of the issue - hopefully it'll be helpful to anyone looking at this.

As far as discords go, I would post that question on Beljojo's discord. Tons of people on there willing to help.

But since you are here,  Sounds like you need to install a different or possibly the corrected version of the ELS XML that may have come with those particular vehicles if the modder did the XML files correctly.   If you did install them, you can always pull an ELX XML file from another car pack and see if that resolves the issue.    If you are doing a Felony Stop, they should come with lights and sirens, but once they arrive they should be shutting off.  So like I mentioned, just check those ELS XML files in  your ELS folder > pack_default folder.

I think the issue might have more to do with location than ELS itself. The car models that I'm using in the screenshot are from [ELS] Los Santos Police Department Pack - Heat Edition 1.0.0. And the previous car models I used before were from [ELS] LSPD Vehicle Pack 1.1.0. I've noticed that depending on where I spawn a unit using UltimateBackup the lights can either work perfectly, or they can have the issues I mentioned before. Sometimes the unit doesn't even spawn at all. I installed both ELS from both mods correctly, and still had issues with them. This seems to be constant no matter what vehicle model mods I install.

 

For Beljojo's discord, word on the street is that all the staff members have left, and moved to a new discord. I'm actually in that new discord, so I can ask them for help if necessary.

Gotcha about the discord

As far as certain vehicle behavior at certain locations of the map, it should not be happening.   Do you have Menyoo Trainer installed by chance?  Sometimes that acts very weird with UB.

I do have the Menyoo Trainer installed. Would you suggest I uninstall it, or is there a setting I can change? I really only use Menyoo to move peds and vehicles around more than anything - something which isn't available in TrainerV, which I also use, unless I'm wrong. If you have any suggestions for a mod I can use that allows me to move peds and vehicles around, I'd appreciate it.

Not a great fix that I have found.  I just see a lot of weird things that happen when Menyoo is installed and that is without me pressing the F5 key to activate it.  Patrol vehicles abandoned in the middle of the street, bald peds standing on cars,  empty AI vehicles on road ways for no reason and yes occasionally a full steady burn of ELS vehicles.  Have not found a fix myself and wish they could fix this issue.  I also use the Menyoo for Spooner mode but just had to finally bite the bullet and uninstall it.

I get the same issues too. It's annoying that I can't really move peds or vehicles around anymore, but a mod like Custom Pullover can work as a good substitute. There's also STP too. Another plus is that there's an extra keybind I can use for the other mods I have on my setup. I'll go ahead and uninstall it and see how things go.

Looks like deleting Menyoo seemed to have fixed it. Appreciate the help, OfficerBenzo.
