Infinite loading screen after 2802 update

Featured Replies

Ok, so another update another infinite loading screen. So it was working fine before the update but after i updated my game i seem to have infinite loading again. I updated lspdfr and scripthookv.

Any fixes for this? Thanks

So there's a couple things that could be causing this. Can you upload a log?
A couple things to try in the mean time:
Launch Rage, hold shift, when the settings window appears make sure you have your Plugin Timeout Threshold set to 60000
If you haven't updated your mods folder you'll need to do that. To do so copy the update.rpf and update2.rpf from the update folder into mods/update

Yeah i cant find out why myself so i thought ild ask for help!

RagePluginHook.log

That might be why actually because i did try to revert back to 1699 when LSPDFR and scripthookv was outdated for the time being

Make sure that your mods folder is up to date like I said above. If that doesn't work try loading the game without Rage and once you load in Alt+Tab out and launch Rage.
Let me know if the game doesn't launch even without Rage.

Yeah i think that is why as i removed LSPDFR the other day to play GTA Online and that worked fine ill let you know

Also is there a updated gameconfig as mine is still 1699?

ok so, still infinte when i load through RPH

Yeah I'm getting the same issue all my plugins / mods are up to date and the same with RPH and LSPDFR, backup your mod folder and verify your game files on steam or what ever you use.

I updated gameconfig, scripthook, dinput8, verified my game, updated rage files, and still have infinite loading screen.  Any more ideas would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I've read that you may need to rebuild your mods folder. I'm testing the new gameconfig now. Will update.

if i move the folder, will i have to redo my eup and patchday mods? im guessing yes but hoping no..

if you havent already move the new update.rpf to your mods as you might have the old one in your mods folder that causes infinite loading

yep you have have to redo all your mods which is why i sugegst you backup your save after every mod so after a new update comes around you can revert your game version instead of waiting for a new patch
