GTAIV Fatal error

Featured Replies

So, I had re-installed the game after having a few car mod problems. I have windows 8, and i already have everything i need to play GTA, but obviously something is missing because a message keeps popping up which says,

" Fatal error: Xnet startup"

Been searching online, and cant find no helpful solutions. Tried to re-install it again but still, I have net frame 3.5 , and have all my drivers up to date. Any solution here much appreciated. Thanks!

Does it has an error code?

10093.  BTW, it happens right after installing the latest patch 1.0.7.0. Because I could play the game without the updated version, but i need it so i can install recent mods.

I did some  very small research and I found that 10093 error is actually the same as the WS10 error, is this right?

I went to there site explaining what I could do to fix it. Thanks, it is the same thing. That helped me a lot.
