URGENT: The button "Copy files to game" doesn't work properlly in LML

Featured Replies

Good evening @LMS,

In the latest version of LML the Mod Manager button "Copy files to game" doesn't seem to work correctly: it copies in the main gta5 directory every file and folder present in the subfolder where there is the install.xml - for example it copies all the data and stream files of a particular vehicle in the GTA5 main directory.

Since I only want to copy the ELS file, till now I put in the install.xml the following code:

<ResourceFolders>
        <GameFolder>filesToCopy</GameFolder>

</ResourceFolders>

and by pressing the button "Copy files to game" in the Mod Manager it copied only the els file present in the "filesToCopy" folder. Now it copies everything. 😭

Can you restore the previuos behavior please?

Thanks as always

Thanks for sharing! We did recently update that behavior so there is a chance something went wrong. I will have a look and let you know.

Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.

I am having this same issue with version 047 and 048. I downgraded to 045 and the issue of duplicating files into the main directory is not occurring anymore

Yes exactly, it's a problem of the last two versions.

Could you provide an example? I just tried it and when I specify a specific folder only that folder gets copied.

Of course, instead of copying the specif els file put into the "filesToCopy" folder the button also copies the others folders "stream" and "data" inside the gta5 main directory.

I understand, but this did not happen for me. Can you provide a install.xml and folder where this happens to you?

Thanks, that helped, and I can reproduce it for your case. It should not happen for nested paths or when specifying subfolders, but I will fix it for this case soon.
