"Corrupted Game Files" Error

Featured Replies

So, I keep on getting the "Corrupted Game Files. Please Verify Game Data." error. I've verified the game files on Steam, but that made no change. Then, I followed the instructions on the official Rockstar website, but I can't interpret any of the log files for the launcher or my computer. I've attached the logs, could anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks in advance.

Do you have a mods folder? Update the folder

if still crash rename mods folder to _mods

Yeah, disabling the mods folder worked. I'm gonna have to go through it to find the source of the problem. Thanks for your help!

If you can’t find the error, start with a new mods folder, sometimes easier than finding the problem

Don't worry, I found the source of the error. I had a messed up meta file in one of my most recent add-on vehicle installs. Thanks for your help!
