Game Won't Load Past Music And Pictures. :(

Featured Replies

So I recently got a new Toshiba laptop for Christmas. I can launch GTA and can hit start. Then after that it just plays the pictures and music forever. Please help me!

What are the specs of the laptop? Go to the Windows icon, type in dxdiag in the search box. Under the system tab, list the processor and memory, then under the display tab, look in the device box and tell what it says next to name.

Oh, I'm sorry. Here, try this: http://www.picohelp.com/64/how-to-check-computer-system-specifications-windows-7.html

List what is next to processor, and look for anything about RAM and graphics and list that.

Its no problem.   Processor: Intel® Core i3-3110m CPU @ 2.40GHz   2.GHz

                           RAM: 4G

                           64-bit

If this doesn't help let me know.

The problem is that you're using an integrated graphics card. GTA 4 won't run with an integrated graphics card, you need a dedicated graphics card.

But it works on my HP Pavillion g7-1002sa?

Why wouldn't it on a Toshiba?

The Vista Tosibas do...

The Pavilion series of laptops have switchable graphics,

I.E:

Intel Family Chip (for things like on the move work such as microsoft word)

AMD Radeon (1GB Dedicated Memory)

Mine does. It's also a Pavilion, Dv7 if I remember correctly.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake
