Gangs shoot at you for no reason in the game

Featured Replies

Any way to be in a neighborhood where there are gangs so that they don't shoot at you if you shoot a dude? It is annoying that when I shoot a dude who for example is stealing or something the gang thinks I am attacking them.

That's just the way how it is, has nothing to do with LSPDFR.

And matter of fact, they do have a reason to shoot you because you opened fire in their territory.

If you haven't learned your lesson already: Don't open fire in a gang neighborhood unless you want to escalate a gang shootout.

And why would you shoot the suspect if he was only "stealing" something? How did you pass the Police Academy, officer?

If that part alone is looked at, then i would say 'properly'. You would have to code a plugin where you would change all peds relationship inside an area or create a collection of the hostile peds and change their behavioural-state from belonging to a Hating group to a neutral relationship.
If you are a coder, the function you should look at would be:

Game.SetRelationshipBetweenRelationshipGroups("gangs", "police", Relationship.Hate);

At the same time you would have ruined a great gameplay feature.... -imo

See my plugin here:

Let me know if you find it interesting.
Best Regards.

To clarify, if I am in a street where there are gangs established by the game itself, and the suspect who would be committing some criminal act shoots me or makes an attempt on the life of the officer in any way, I return fire. , that is why a close gang in real life would not dare to shoot the policeman lmao, there is no point defending someone who does not belong to his gang, that even if they arrest a single gang member he would not dare to shoot policemen in a group because they want because they would end up losing

Yeah but unfortunately that's the way how Rockstar decided to define gang behavior; it's normal in the GTA way, but obviously unrealistic in real-life standard.

I'm not sure if you can completely "disable" gang members' "reckless behaviours," seems like they will attack anyone who they define as a "threat," including random AIs. Modifying the "relationship" data won't make them completely ignore you; if they don't "hate" you, that means they won't automatically attack you as soon as they see you.
