GAME CRASHING ON STARTUP

One we hit the loading screen after a minute when rage plugin hook says something about support game functions. It crashes. Looking at the log to me isn't much help as I have no idea how the logs work, so I thought I would create a thread here hoping someone will help me. I have validated my game files. Put an _ in front of my mods folder to see if it is that still crashes, I have loaded the game without rage plugin hook still crashes.

The log file is here.

Hoping someone can help me.

I have found out the file that is causing the issue with my game. It is dinput8.dll, if I remove this file the game starts and I can clock in. But with this file removed I can not use ELS or use anything in my mods folder. Is there a fix for this. Or is it to do with the new update that came out for GTA 2 days ago.

Hello Charlotte, i have the latest version of script hookv installed and using the dinput8.dll file that comes with it. But the dinput8 file that comes with it says it was last modifed in 2015. So if this is an error on scripthookv side by putting the wrong dll file in the folder then i guess we have to wait for scripthookv to correct this mistake. That is what i have downloaded off the scriphookv website and that is what is in my gta folder minus the NativeTrainer.asi. And the game still crashes. But if I remove the dinput8.dll that scripthookv gave me then add the one in my system32 folder the game loads no issue without any mods.

Works fine for me. I highly highly doubt that is the issue as it would be much more widespread. Can you send a RAGEPluginHook.log file please.

Charlotte i have done that already and it still crashes when i replace the dinput8.dll file with the one in system32 that is when it loads but without mods.

As shown in the RPH.log file the game crashes when RPH inits game support. And if i load the game without RAGE it still crashes. It is something to do with the dinput8.dll file that is provided with shv
