Well the issue is that works, but it leaves me without any of the edits I made in the xmls

Yea I guess you're gonna have to cut your losses. I think those xml's are outdated so that's why.🤷‍♂️

I hope to help someone with my answer. When LSPDFR does not load, it means that there is a file inside the game installed in the wrong folder, there are millions of problems that can cause this. And I'll tell you the only way to get it fixed.

 

Change the name of your MODS folder to MODSS, try to open the game normally, if it keeps loading infinitely, unfortunately you will have to reinstall your entire game from scratch. (If it's the copy of the original game, it must be a conflict with some plugin, I don't recommend playing with the copy) if your game loads after renaming the mods folder, you'll have to delete the mods folder, and install it again . that is, you will have to install vehicles, sounds, eup again.

at least it's the solution to be able to play your game again 🙂

Before you do this, 

Follow this tutorial: darkvypr.com/irls

 

Reason being because deleting your WHOLE mods folder is sometimes going unnecessarily too far. When GTAV updates, it essentially renders your update.rpf (which is located in your mods folder) useless. The reason why renaming your mods folder does the truck is because it makes your mods loader "invisible" to GTAV.

 

In many cases, the mods folder does not have to be completely replaced, just the update.rpf.
