Cabinet.Duck got a reaction from dajanoviic in Infinite RAGE loading screenSo, I ended up looking on another forum post, and saw Cyan say to rename "Mods" to "_Mods" and my game loaded without a hitch.
Apparently the new update content isn't stable with LSPDFR

Cabinet.Duck got a reaction from brenden.iannetta in Infinite RAGE loading screenYup, I have, I was going through the process of installing the EUP Ultimate Configurations list of car packs. I did them to a T.
That's why I'm confused, it doesnt seem to be giving me a straight answer for what path is wrong.

Cabinet.Duck got a reaction from valcop in Infinite RAGE loading screenHi, I've seen a couple posts about this, so I'm not the only one, but they're without solutions.
When I launch RAGE, the screen shows that the plugins load fine, and everything *seems* dandy, but the screen just loads on and on. I let it sit, and after ten minutes of loading and several cycles of the loading music, I gave up. I also attempted removing all of my extra plugins, and my LSPDFR character, but the same thing happened.
I'm honestly at a loss about what to do.

Cabinet.Duck reacted to Cyan in Infinite RAGE loading screenThe process of renaming your mods folder to _mods is to eliminate LSPDFR as the cause of the problem. If your game then works fine, LSPDFR is not to blame, and you have to fix whatever is wrong with that folder. In general, your mods folder needs to be updated or, failing that, recreated after an update.

Cabinet.Duck got a reaction from JBin818 in Appreciation for the moddersI agree. I think LSPDFR is honestly unrivaled in its quality and community. I can't think of another popular policing mod or game other than Flashing Lights (Which is good, but needs work) or that god awful Enforcer: Police Crime Action game that I had the displeasure of playing for like, five minutes six years ago lmao.
LSPDFR is really special, and I think it does a great job letting average citizens get a taste of what policing is like with them in control. Definitely makes me consider becoming an officer!

Cabinet.Duck reacted to JBin818 in Appreciation for the moddersFor all 3 to be updated in 1 day is almost unheard of. I've been on here for 4 years and especially ScripthookV to be updated so quickly is awesome. Typically a week or 2 for SHV. LSPDFR and RAGE would usually be updated at the same time since the staff manages both of them. LMS updates RAGE and either CYAN or SAM updates LSPDFR. Correct me if I'm wrong. It is awesome how this mod and all others who contribute to it keeps it going. Best police simulator I think.

Cabinet.Duck got a reaction from UnknownBastion in Appreciation for the moddersHey, just wanted to make a quick post thanking the developers of LSPDFR, RAGE Plugin Hook and ScripthookV (I know only a few might see this). Ya'll absolutely killed it.
Updating all three in a SINGLE day?? That's just... I know this is supposed to be typical, but I'm still amazed. It's gotta be a pain to rewrite so many scripts and code, so I think you deserve more open praise for it. Good f*cking job.
(PS: The patience the mods on here show for the same error messages over and over being posted or people ignoring the banners and asking why their LSPDFR isn't working after an update is incredible.)
You guys make the LSPDFR community a very approachable and reliable community for fairly complicated modding. This isn't all file drag n' drop, but the playerbase for LSPDFR is bigger than any other GTA mod, so that speaks volumes to how accessible and warming the help on the community is.
