Howdy y'all, it seems that I got a few issues.

 

Whenever I launch RPH, with GTA open or not, it will refuse to hook, insist on launching a game, and refuse to hook to that, too. When the game is open and it launches, it will fail to hook. No errors are thrown, nothing occurs, it just sits there, taunting me, with the "launching game"  message. Any fixes?

P.S.: Don't ask for a log, since it hasn't generated one.

Kindly disable your anti-virus and also your firewall, and try launching the game after that. I've helped a lot of people with that issue, and disabling both the anti-virus and the firewall is going to fix that problem.

That's a really stupid way to go about solving the problem. Computers have antivirus for a reason. antiviruses have exclusion lists for a reason as well.

It ain't a stupid solution...It's the only solution that will help. And why don't you present a better idea then?

2. No it isn't

Didn't work. In my PRH and ULSS reports ive stated that I have had my antivirus disabled since it occured. Didn't help. sorry for not stating that prior!

Is it any better with the updates today? There was a fix in the latest RPH build around hooking on systems with NVIDIA GeForce Experience hook enabled.

I'll look into it, but it was going on for a week prior to this update. I will quote you back pretty soon regarding it, though.

If you mean the re-push, then no, I haven't updated it. But the initial compatability update isn't helping.

After updating to the newest version, I can confirm that it does not work, and the issue persists. Still will not hook.
