Crash issue

Featured Replies

I have installed the diagnostic test and when I ran it the first time it said everything was good. But when I went to start the game it crashed, so I did another diagnostic test and the diagnostic test crashed. So I can not put a report from the test up here, but I did a screen capture.I hope it is not to big, and I apologize if it is.

Yea I was doing that, then playing around with it now the game comes on, and when I run the diagnostic test everything is ok, but when I play the game it is playing the regular mission and not the police mode. I am lost on ideas now. Can somebody help me out here please

Do you have dsound.dll and xlive.dll in your GTA IV directory?

If you do, remove one and try it, if it still crashes, try it with the other one

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

Hi SaintmanE,

The Log is ok, try this: Reinstall LCPD: FR but choose xlive.dll instead dsound.dll, then start LaunchGTAIV.exe as Admin (richt click on it and choose run as admin). If this doesn't work use dsound.dll and xlive.dll.

Are you using other mods?

Ok I see the LCPDFR logo in the lower right corner when the game start. And I can change to a police officer and take emergency calls, but when I leave the guy on the motor cycle the game keeps on saying I am leaving my bike and it staarts all over again. Do I need to find the police department first or something? And thanks for the help too.

I'm going on based what I think your saying;

Are you using the police bike in TBoGT to transport suspects to the station?

As far as I'm aware, I don't think LCPDFR supports the police bike. although I may be wrong.

Have you tried using a cruiser?

No I am not using a police bike. When I start the game the very first mission is to ride around on a bike with the biker gang. I can chang to a police and all, but the game is still forcing me to play the regular game and I want to play the police mode. Not the biker one when I gota ride around to kill people. I am the bad guy and not the good guy. I hope that explain better what I'm saying.

Oh, Your playing on The Lost And Damned correct?

You have to complete the first mission before activating LCPDFR

Then save your game, walk outside and activate it.

If it still doesn't work, let me know
