ELS without SHV ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to start LSPDFR with ELS System without ScriptHook? I have an ASI manager to allow my plugins to work properly without SHV (because it's outdated for V.2628 of GTA5) but for ELS I can't find a solution...

Thanks for your anwser

If i'm not mistaken, ELS has been made to use Scripthook and only Scripthook and any other hook could work but would most likely result in ELS failing entirely. (Crashing you to desktop every launch) ELS also receives no updates for other hooks to work with it. The Update for scripthook is worth the wait and coding just takes time. For certain things, you will just have to wait. To answer your question, No. ELS will not work without Scripthook. ASI manager is for reading the file. Scripthook Executes the code. Scripthook is not compatible with the current game version resulting in ELS and other mods that depend on Scripthook, useless.

until SHV updates you can use an alternative like ASI Support (although be warned its a bit finicky)

Exactly what Mrsuperx13 said. ASI Support will get ELS and most scripthook mods back working. I do have one or two mods that it isn't compatible with it. Only major downside I've ever had with ASI Support is a noticeable FPS drop.  In the City I'll go from around 75fps down to around 35-40 and will drop to around 50fps in the county.

Are you making sure to load it through RPH?
