How to execute a perfect Pit Manoeuvre

Featured Replies

Ever wondered how officers in the residing states of San Andreas or Vice City manage to stop a suspect with ease?

Ever wondered why they ram the suspect and their selves into a wall to stop them?

Well wonder no more! As part of your training, you will be taught how to execute a "perfect" pit maneuvre.

Ignore the health and safety rubbish you learnt at our academy, this is how we do it!

On a serious note, I love doing Pit Manoeuvres on GTA 4. It works much better if you have the "Realistic handling and damage" mod installed as the suspects wreck their cars and speed.. a lot.. and flip them and such..

I've decided I'm going to start a video series consisting of major and small cock ups on my part and the A.I's .. I present to you the first video, only a few seconds long but its a start!

EDIT: My second cock up, chasing a suspect over the highway near helitours and end up flipping my cruiser over the wall and landing in the water.

Damnit I was going to make a video about the AI's cockups. Well I suppose I could still do it.

But anyway, I want that mod now. Then maybe I could wreck my own car before the pursuit has even finished!

It Definitely helps in pursuits as it makes them more realistic (I've stuggled to keep up with some sports cars on the highway's)

If you want I can provide the file for the handling.. just make sure you pick the handling.dat that is in the "Realistic damage" folder

Actually, for a GTA IV method it was great, but in life you'd have crashed your own police car as well -- bad idea. tongue.gif

Thats the thing, I didn't actually mean to flip him, I just think he turned in to the spin

And since posting this thread, I've captured many more retarded moments featuring myself and the A.I.. expect them soon
