"Corrupted installer?" error popup

Featured Replies

So I have just finished installing GTA V today. It is a perfectly clean copy, no issues whatsoever. I downloaded the LSPDFR setup file from this website and when I try to open it, it responds with an NSIS error. I work around this by opening the file through Command Prompt with /NCRC. This opens the installer setup fine, but the decompression status gets to 15% and then an error popup appears stating "Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?", and I don't know how to fix it. I've looked everywhere and I know that my installer is not the issue because other things install perfectly fine. I also opened the manual install file with Win RAR and it said that the archive was corrupted. I don't think the file downloaded correctly but I've downloaded it about 10 times from Microsoft Edge. Someone please help me fix this as I've been waiting to play LSPDFR for years now.

Attached is a couple of photos to help with diagnosis of the problem.

Try to use a different browser and download the manual installation again. Then locate where the zip package is, make sure it is downloaded on your PC.

You also need the latest version of RageNatuveUI: https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases

I tried disabling the Virus and Firewall to extract the files to my GTA folder with WinRAR but it still tells me "The archive is corrupted". I don't know if this is a problem with my download software or something.

Even through using the manual install?

Yeah, with the manual install it doesn't work either. Extracting it with WinRAR doesn't work and brings up the error window "The archive is corrupted". I tried repairing the archive with WinRAR and it didn't work, and I don't know what else to try. It's either an issue with the file or with my PC, but I'm not sure if it's either of these or another issue. It does also come up with this message when I open it: "Unexpected end of archive". Then I try to extract it to my GTA folder and it says "The archive is corrupted".

I've uploaded the photo of the error messages. The first one appears when I initially open the file. The second one appears when I try extracting the files to the GTA folder. As I said a minute ago, it is unrepairable. I can't download it from lcpdfr.com/lspdfr again because it still shows the same error message. If you could help me I would be extremely grateful.

There is an issue on your end preventing the complete download. Ensure any anti virus or firewall software is disabled as these might be interfering. Also ensure you are using the latest version of WinRAR, as older versions struggle with newer archives.

I already tried downloading the LSPDFR file with anti-virus and firewall switched off. I will try it again now. Also, I do have the latest version on WinRAR as I only installed it yesterday to extract the package for LSPDFR files.

I just tried downloading the manual install file with anti-virus and firewall off. It did not work. It continues to give me the same errors.

Not sure then, sorry. I just tried all of our download servers and I'm not seeing similar issues.

You could try download from another server. Whilst you a downloading, there is a link to try another server. Try choosing one of the US ones.

Yeah, I just tried all of the different servers and none of them worked. Same issues. I don't know what's going on.

Just wondering, if the download from this website isn't working, could there be other websites I could download it from to see if that will work?

You could try the following links, these are on a completely seperate infrastructure and configuration than our normal links.

Manual download

Automatic (installer) download

You are an absolute legend! The manual download let me extract the files to my GTA folder. Thank you so much!
