You'll have to edit the handling.meta of said car.

Usually it helps to improve the weight and the way it changes gear.

 

If it's an SUV you have issues with; I recommend to take a look at `Baller2`'s handlingID.

I marked some important ones; like the mass (Weight),it has 5 gears with a driveForce of 027 (which you can increase a little for more speed in general),
And the traction in curves.

 

Baller2 is a good example, you can see how it differs from police2:

So simply adjust the values and test them out a little.
