Hello everyone, 

 

I wanted to start a discussion about Lore-Friendly departments. Simply put what departments do you have in your game? I am asking just to see if i could add any to my game based on what other people have and what departments they are based off off. 

 

My game: 

Los Santos Police department (LSPD)  Based off of LAPD

Los Santos Port Police (LSPP) Based off of LAPP 

Los Santos Air Port Police (LSAPD) Based off of LAAPD) 

Del Perro Police Department (DPPD) Fictional 

Los Santos County Sheriff Department (LSSD) Based off of LASD

Chumash Police Department (CPD) Fictional 

Blaine County Sheriff Office (BCSO) Based off of Alameda Sheriffs 

Paleto Bay Police Department (PBPD) Fictional 

Sandy Shores Police Department (SSPD) Based off of Orange Beach 

Grapeseed Police Department (GPD) Fictional 

Senora Valley Sheriffs (SVSO) Fictional 

San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP) Based off of CHP 

San Andreas Sheriffs (SASO) Fictional

 

So I have the basic departments in my lspdfr. Lspd based off of LAPD. Los Santos County Sheriffs based off of LASD. Blaine county sheriffs based off of Orange County sheriffs. I also have airport police and port authority PD. I also have FIB police based off of FBI police. 
 

I customized the zones a bit. So I have the county sheriffs patrolling from El Burro heights to mirror park and vinewood hills, and Cypress flats with the HQ at Mission Row PD. (Some sweet interiors I use for it) LSSD also covers Richman area all the way west to Chumash and down to Zancudo. I mainly do sheriff patrols. 😉 
 

LSPD covers the rest Of the area. BCSO covers SS, GS, PB, areas. Airport PD covers airport and PA Police cover the port. 
 

for vehicles I use a DLS fleet based off of LAPD and LASD. I have real world vehicles

In game. (Just added a sweet F150 btw.) 

LSPD from Oscars LAPD car pack based off of LAPD.  Cover most of the city.

LS County Sheriff based off of LA County Sheriff.  They patrol the hills on each side of the mountains until it gets to the Blaine County line.

Blaine County Sheriff not really based off of anything but the vehicle pack I used (just 3 vehicles) I actually saw a real life patrol vehicle of that vehicle pack but I couldn't tell what department it was.  Wasn't part of the agencies in that area so I don't know.  Maybe some small town i don't know.   I'll try to find the link to that pack.

SAHP based off of CHP using the Hurk,s vehicle pack.  But there is no HP station in the game.  There is an old mod on here that changes the skin to the Paleto Bay Sheriff station to a SAHP station with the CHP look.  Then I go into the station.XML and change that to SAHP so the game see it has a HP station and will spawn a couple of my HP addon vehicles there sometimes when I drive by.  Only problem is I can't change the uniforms (EUP) of the 2 sheriffs deputies in the back.  I have custom uniforms using EUP that are slightly different than the EUP presets.

State Park - whatever Park Ranger vehicles looks good. 

So I only have 5 departments in game to keep the modding simple.  All sheriffs station are for the LSSD and the others in the city are for LSPD.

Would you be willing to share your regions and agency files? I would love to add Senora Valley PD and Paleto Bay PD to my game. I figured I'd search on here before I started that long process myself.

I would, but unfortunately i accidently deleted my plugins folder the other day and im re setting everything up 😞
