Need a copy of the settings.xml

Featured Replies

Today I replaced the setting.xml without backing up the original one and I messed up so can anyone please sent a copy of your setting.xml or will reinstalling restore the original one?

setting.xml is located in Documents->Rockstar Games-> GTA V (you can open the xml and highlight the entire xml and paste it in notepad and attatch the notepad here)

You cannot obtain this from another person because it is copyrighted. Best thing to do is to verify your game files.

How To Verify:

Spoiler

GTA V Steam

Steam Library > Right click GTA V > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity

GTA V Retail

Rockstar Games Launcher > Click GTA V > Click Settings > Verify

GTA V Epic Games

Go to your Epic Games Library > GTA V > click the three little dots > Verify

Thanks! 🙂

You deleted your GTA settings preset, just run the game and set settings at what you want, Minimum, Ultra or whatever, as you did before -_-
