Short police officers?

I think we're getting off track here. The concern the original poster had, and I have are that his size would be a disadvantage should an altercation break out. I believe we has established that according to simple body physics, you can win a fight against someone much bigger than you if you know how to use their body against them.

That being said, that still does not solve the issue with doped up criminals who don't feel pain, gain virtually limitless strength and endurance for a short period of time or don't fight traditionally. Observe:

Now, before you comment on the video, I'm aware those three cops didn't do that great of a job at fighting, but it proves my point. If there are three average-joe cops who can't take out a tall, lanky black dude on meth, what is a 5'3 person who doesn't regularly lift weights or probably isn't an expert in martial arts going to do against one when he's alone?

Take my advice, OP; Bulk up. Any advantage you can get over someone like that, you better take, in the interest of preserving your own life if nothing else.
