DefaultRegions backup loadout doesnt change in game

Featured Replies

Hi,

So for awhile now I've been pretty annoyed with the loadout of advanced rifles and automatic shotguns the local swat and noose units have, so I went to defaultregions.xml under UltimateBackup and tried to change the loadouts there to a carbine rifle and SMG, and although I did change it there, in the game the loadout stayed the same. I read somewhere that the loadouts can be changed in agency.xml, but I was unable to figure out how.

Does anybody know of any other way to change the loadouts of backup units? I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Hey Wendigo,

In "Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\data" you can find the file called " cop_inventory"

There you chance the loudout aswell.

Hey,

I looked into it, but it doesn't seem to be the place, as I'm looking to change the longgun selection of swat units, and that file doesn't contain the term "advancedrifle". The only file I have been able to find so far which contains the swat unit loadouts has been the "DefaultRegions.xml" file, but as stated before, any changes to that file don't have an effect on the game. Thank you for your suggestion though.

If you call backup through the UB Menu you should get the peds with the loudout defined in the Default/Custom/SpecialUnit.xml.

And you have changed it for every region as well?

Should be 8 times if using the DefaultRegions.xml which comes with UB

And one in the CustomRegion.xml

And an other 4 times in the SpecialUnits.xml

SpecialUnits.xmlCustomRegions.xmlDefaultRegions.xml

(This files have the changes with the SMG and Carbinerifle)

Yeah, found that yesterday as well, I changed every mention of "advancedrifle" to "carbinerifle", as well as the appropriate attachments, but in game they still have advanced rifles.

The CustomRegion.xml still has advancedrifle and assaultshotgun set for the Local SWAT and Noose SWAT make sure to change them too and then try it again ingame

I think that should solve it (hopefully)

Yesss, thank you so much for taking the time with me, it worked thank god. I didn't think to check CustomRegions, cause I thought it just set the jurisdictions.

I apologize for wasting your time on this stupid mistake of mine.
