Pc keeps crashing after I install LCPD

Is this a good enough PC to run GTA And LCPD, If so why is it keep crashing?

Doesn't matter how good of a PC you have when it comes to crashes. It's really just based on luck. I honestly wouldn't know why it keeps crashing since I'm no expert.

Ok, Thanks for responding. As soon as GTA loads up it crashes. I can play without LCPD and it works fine..

Go more in depth when you mean as soon as it loads up...Like, when you click on the icon to start the game, after you get done with the Social Club log-in thing, does it crash then? Or does it crash as soon as you get in-game and it says loading then when it's about to load the screen, it crashes?

It loads up to the bit where you are just about to get into the game it says.

Loading (mission name)...

Then crashes.

Oh, then there's a problem with your save game file. You'll have to delete it.

I'm New to PC gaming. Where do i find the gamesave?

It works without LCPD but as soon as I install it. it doesnt work.

Do you use dsound and/or xlive.dll?

If you have these 2 files, delete one of these.

Resumed:

Dsound.dll: Use it if you play Multiplayer only.

Xlive.dll: Use it if you play Singleplayer only.

XliveLess DLL Important:

Make sure that a savegame (100% recommendable) is on My Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/savegames/ (Always make a backup in case something goes wrong).

I have deleted Dsound as I only play offline mode and It still seems to be causing a problem. I have no "/Savegames/" Folder though? Do you think that may be the problem?

and if that dont work go to your start icon an hut run then type %appdata% and click run and when it pulls p it should have like Rockstar games or so in their and delete the saved file. If you cant find it ill go more in depth when Im on my computer
