Does anyone know a good gaming laptop that can run gta iv for under $1000?.

look at custom websites you will get the most for your money and you can customise it the way you want ;) If your hesitant about that then dont be because I was going to buy a dell laptop for £750 but instead ive opted for a custom desktop which has a better graphics card and twice the ram for only £700.

You're better off getting a desktop. That way you can make upgrades to it and etc. There's really no way to swap out parts on a Laptop to get a better processor or graphics card like in a Desktop. Plus you can get a Desktop with better specs compared to a "gaming" laptop that's under $1,000.

I agree with Hunter. Laptops can be a pain in the ass to repair, they often overheat easily, and the majority of the parts cannot be upgraded so you will have to buy a new laptop once technology advances.

If you were to buy the parts for a desktop individually, I can assure you that you will save lots of money, since laptops are often overpriced and you can be sure that buying the parts yourself will allow you to shop around and find the best value for your components.
