What siren is this?

Featured Replies

Hello LCPDFR, I was messing around and looking random videos on Youtube when I found this video, it's the saudi Police (Unknown City) which features a very familiar siren for UK people and other people who knows how Whelen Sirens sounds like. My question is, what type of Whelen they use? I'm thinking on the Alpha or similar.

Here's the vid

If the siren is already made (for GTA Iv), left a link, please (If possible).

Thanks for reading.

It sounds a little like the siren we have over here in the U.K. Our police forces use a Whelen 295 siren, although, I have heard some slightly newer siren used by my county(Hertfordshire) Which seems to shorten the wail a bit. It seems to increase in pitch faster, and decrease slower, or at the same speed as before, I heard that it's supposed to help with people knowing where the siren is coming from. I do beleive that the siren in the video is a 295. The tone at the start of the video sounded like it was from a different siren though, not sure. Most British sirens on this site are 295's if you're interested in them.
