Hello, I have a question about installing models from this site. I download pack of cars. I open cars folder and I haven´t example police.yft, police.ytd, but I have a folder, which is named Stream and in this folder is exapmle, cadillacbb.yft, cadillacbb.ytd. and I have a .meta files such as: carcols.meta, carvariations.meta, vehicles.meta, handling.meta. And my question is, how can I install this car model, which is in Stream file and haven´t name police.yft, but cadilacbb.yft and metas files.

Basically, this looks more like a FiveM ready vehicle resource to me.

You could rename the .yft and .ytd so that you replace a normal police car.

This would require renaming the files to:

• cadillacbb.yft -> police.yft
• cadillacbb.ytd -> police.ytd

Okey, I replace cars and are working, but I want other car, this is non-els car a I did same replace this car 

 for Prager - park ranger and beacons don´t flash. Why? This car is non-els car, but previous cars are ELS. This is problem?

thank you for your feedback.

 

In general, if you want to use ELS vehicles, you must first install the .xml file that comes with ELS (plugin is attached below) and the file must have the same name as the vehicle file.

 

I have a short tutorial here:

 

 

Note:

Always install your vehicles in the latest patchday. In our current case this would be the "patchday24ng".

I haven´t problem with ELS cars, ELS cars are working, but I have problem with non-els car. I know, how install cars. On non-els car no work beacons. They don´t flash.

It is normal that Non-Els vehicles do not work with ELS. These are not designed for this purpose. As soon as ELS is installed, you should also use ELS vehicles, otherwise you will not be able to control them with ELS.

You don´t understand me. I don´t want non-els car use as ELS, but I write, that I download non-els car and I replace it with pranger and flash beacons don´t work. Do you want see video what I mean?

Then please be sure that you have installed the vehicles in the latest patchday (in our case "patchday24ng").

However, it could also be the vehicles themselves.

No, it doesn´t work. I rename car, place to the patchday24ng and still flash beacons don´t work. I don´t understand this model car, why flash beacons don´t work.

How do you install a "patchday" is it somthing you have to get to make cars work or is it just the latest version?

I open Open IV, open ASI manager and click  OpenIV.asi. This create Mods folder. After creating this Mods folder, I copied update folder from GTA V folder to Mods folder. When is update folder copied to Mods folder, I open this update folder with Open IV: Mods>update>x64>dlcpacks>patchday24ng>dlc.rpf>x64>levels>GTA5>vehicles.rpf and here I copied .yft, .ytd with model name. I rename this model on pranger, so I copied this renamed files to this vehicles.rpf, all close and OpeIV and I started the game, but I ported vehicle by rage pluginhook console (F4), I get this model replaced for pranger, but Flash lights don´t work.

I never use Open IV because it always either deletes something from gta or it corrupts my files

Would I be able to just create a mods folder and copy the other folders into it?

And how can I replace car models without Open IV? Can I replace models without use Open IV? I open Mods folder without open IV: mods>update>x64>dlcpacks>patchday24ng and I have in this folder dlc.rpf. I must use Open IV for open this .rpf. Without Open IV I can´t open .rpf, if I want replace vehicle.

You say, that you don´t use Open IV for replacing cars because it delete something from GTA, yes? And I am asking, how you replace cars without open IV?

Latest Version.  You don't install patchdays as far as I know.  As Rockstar who owns GTAV, updates their game, they might have new cars to install.  Only so much space can be put it a certain patchday (folder).  So if a patchday folder is getting too big then another patchday is created by Rockstar. 

 

To make installing vehicles easier, I suggest installing using Lenny's Modding Loader or Albo's Modding DLC Pack to install vehicles. 

I figured it out. the patchday is in the GTA directory

I have 1 question again, but I don´t want create new topic for 1 question, that I use this my created topic, but this question is other, such as my topic. It is question about ELS mod. I have in game police cars with ELS, but this car has a more flashing lights. Behind front window, on roof, etc. If I 3x push "J", I turn on all flashing light that are on this vehicle. If I turn on only one flash light, expamle with "K" button, I turn on only this light, but I can´t stop vehicles. And my question is, can I stop vehicle with only one flashing lights, when I push only "K" button example? Can I stop vehicles without use "J" key for turn on all flash lights? Thank you.
