im new to lspdfr and i need some mods

Featured Replies

Hello, recently I got the LSPDFR mod and already fell in love. I am brand new to it and was looking for some cool add-ons or extra mods for the game.

My interests right now:

-More events

-Maybe some sort of police team that follows you to those events?

-Remove timer to get to events (really annoying half of the time I can't make it to the events because of bad estimated timers)

Mods I know of but haven't installed:

-I forgot the name of this one, but it makes it so you can use your microphone to say commands

-Talk to peds (i think that's the name mostly want to know what its fully like and if its worth it)

That's really it, any mod suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I remember seeing menyoo conflicts a lot, will anything conflict if I used to auto-repair feature for vehicles?

Hello!
Nice to see that you're enjoying LSPDFR.

As for your list, inhales :

More events. I assume you mean callouts?

Here are some good ones

You can find more on the site 🙂

You can call backup to assist you in the callouts.

You can use Ultimate Backup here

https://www.bejoijo.com/post/ultimate-backup

Bejo's plugins are the best out there.

LSPDFR has 2/3 built-in callouts. This includes a Robbery callout, which has a timer.

AFAIK, there is no way to get rid of the timer, but you can immerse yourself with other callouts instead.

For using your microphone to communicate with Dispatch, you can use GrammarPolice.

To talk to peds, you can use StopThePed. No other plugin like it.

Made by Bejo. I highly, highly recommend it.

Hope this helps! 🙂

Alright, this is just what I was looking for!  Thank you!

As for the Timer, it is part of LSPDFR robbery callouts.  I don't care too much for the timer either.  I think you can disable the callout when you are in the game.  Or, if you go to your main root folder then lspdfr folder and in there is a lspdfr file that is a config settings file you can open.  Open in notepad or something where you can edit it.  Look for;

Holdup.TimeMultiplier = 1.0f

If you don't see it in there, copy/paste that line and add it into there.  From what the LSPDFR wiki/settings on this site says, you can change the number to increase of decrease the time.  The higher number gives you more time.  I don't know how much more time though.  If you change it to 1.5f or 2.0f, how much more time will that give you?  Maybe someone can reply to that question.  Don't forget to save when you close the file.

Best way to test that is see how much 1.0f gives you, and then change it to 1.1f and see what the difference is. That will give you the amount it increases by per increase.
