many times i've been downloading car models but i can't find them in my garage at the police stations

I presume you also installed them.

i do like i do with other mods (i just put the necessary files into the gta folder)

An example:

 

GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/x64/data

D:/GTAV/ drop the plugins, lspdfr and all of those files except for the readme.txt's and the instructions

And that is for vehicles?

You do know you can't just drag and drop vehicles into your main directory right?

well i didn't see a tutorial so what should i know? but how do i do it then?

This is a very basic guide on how to install replace vehicles.

Most files contain a read me so read it!

 

How to install replace vehicles:

 

1. Rename your vehicle files to the slot you'd like to replace (i.e. "police3")

2. Drag and drop yft + ytd (some have hi infront of them - they are still ytf/ytd files) files into this path: GTAV/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/thelatestpatchdaygoeshere/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf

 

Note: If your vehicle is for ELS then make sure to install the XML files in pack_default
