As soon as go on duty and get a callout, the game instantly crashes. I only have first response plugin and no other plugins.

Exception message: Type 'SlimDX.Result' in Assembly 'SlimDX, Version=4.0.13.43, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b1b0c32fd1ffe4f9' is not marked as serializable.
 

What you have is a weird issue - one that I just resolved (let's hope the same happens for you!)

 

First of all make sure you have no pending Windows Updates.

If you do have any, do them.

As soon as you mentioned updates I went and checked for it, and sure enough I needed to update some stuff. I will let you know if that worked or not.

Like I said your issue is not something that has a simple answer too. In some cases it merely disappears after a few days

 

Try the following:

1. Restart of the PC.

2. A complete sfc /scannow

3. Antivirus exceptions

4. Reinstallation of the .NET packages for Windows.

5. Cleaning the GTA V folder to make it vanilla and starting over. 

 

Unfortunately, I cannot help you further than this.

I went and looked at similar issues that I was having in other forums, and one person updated his GPU and it worked for him. I went and checked for updates for my driver and it needed one. So I went and updated the driver, and it seemed to fix the issue. But now instead of the game crashing and kicking me out of GTA V, a small dialogue box pops up and says LSPDFR: First Response has crashed, but I am still able to play, just without LSPDFR. I have the latest log from that.

This crash is because something is missing or outdated. Manually reinstall RAGE + LSPDFR

Okay tried again to see if it would just crash LSPDFR: First Response and not the game and crashed the whole game once again. the log was the same as the first time around. I uninstalled slimDX.dll and restarted my pc, the reinstalled RPH and extracted back into GTA V directory and relaunched GTA V and still crashed my game. 

So the issue has reappeared?

I must ask, did you ever get this resolved and if so, how?

No I never did, it's LSPDFR plugin in general. I have everything up to par I can play gta 5 with6 the plugin just fine. But with it nope.

I really try to avoid this, but I'm going to tag you @LMS

 

I wonder if you can provide any light on this issue?

Send me a screenshot of your C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework folder?

this is from someone i know and my brother had the same problem and he fixed it for him.

No worries at all, that's exactly what tagging is for! I have seen this error a few times over the years and know the technical reason behind it, but I am not sure to this day what part causes it unfortunately. From what I understand there is very little you can do to fix it, it is ultimately an issue with how RPH and SlimDX work together, but again, I am not sure where exactly.

Yes it is quite annyoing to say the least, some solve it with Windows Updates and others never manage to 😕

all those files look ok to me, another thing you could do is find all (SYSTEM.RUNTIME) files in you C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319 and screenshot all of them that's another thing i can only think of. But ill try and help you the best i can!
