So quick and to the point. All the updated plugins work fine, NVR, EUP work fine as well. The only issue is my addon cars in dlclist.xml. When I remove these entries it works, when they are present it crashes when trying to populate game world. I've triple checked the car's dlc files to make sure they are structured properly and everything in the metas are named correctly. Not sure why I am unable to use the cars the same as before. I have updated gameconfig.xml. But at the same time this is all on a fresh install after the update. If you need any more information let me know. I am able to play flawlessly without my cars loaded in. Just wondering why the cars would cause a crash.

Having the exact same issue.

Did you update your mods folder?
If so, you need to reinstall the gameconfig, it was updated not too long ago. 

I know you said you installed it, but did you install it into /mods? Or with LML?

I installed a new gameconfig, and I put it into mods. This was a fresh install so the mods folder and everything else if brand new to the Cayo heist update.

Make sure you install the Packfile Limit Adjuster and Heap Adjuster as well.

Which version of the gameconfig are you using?

Same here' everything else works fine but any car mod will make the game crash, it's related to the new update ofc

Got it working! Gameconfig ended up being out of date.

Could you please tell me where you found the gameconfig that worked for you? I updated mine today, but I'm still getting crashes on startup if I have custom cars in the dlclist.

You're going to download this one. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars then you're going to open the folder named Gta Config v23 for v 1.0.2189.0 and next go to the bottom and open the folder named Stock Traffic (Means Gta base) and drag that gameconfig into update/update.rpf/common/data

Thanks, but that's odd. That's the one I did already download yesterday, and it didn't fix it for me.

 

I did, however, find this one: https://github.com/pnwparksfan/gameconfig And that one worked for me. 🙂

When using the gameconfig linked above, use the 1,5x Peds and 1,5x Traffic. And make sure you use the Packfile and Heap Adjuster linked in the description of the gameconfig.

i just downloaded some vehicle models and when i go to the garage and select between police vehicles for LSPD, the game crashes everytime when i try to select POLICE 3
