ELS Lights Not Working

Featured Replies

I need help with my ELS, and lighting in general. Tonight, I completely reinstalled all of LSPDFR and my mods. I have tried several different YouTube videos, following step for step on how to install ELS. I do it the same way as them, and theirs work, while mine doesn't show up, in-game. I have tried several different vehicles and vehicle packs and none of them seem to work either. I am new to modding and LSPDFR, and I am losing hope on how to ever get this to work, lol. In game, when I push E while in a modded car, nothing happens. The only way I can get the siren, and siren only, to work is by going to the vehicle menu and turning it on that way. Any suggestions? Am I just stupid? Should I give up? Lol any suggestions will help.

ELS is not operated with the E button, that is only your horn. There is a file with all the default keybindings included, read that to find what keys you need to use for everything.

I tried pushing J, and no lights would come on. I tried using "CTRL + P" to open the ELS Menu in the corner, and all it does is pause the game. When I use the menu vehicle menu to turn on the lights and sirens, only the sirens come on.

Yep, Mine stopped working randomly as well tonight. All was fine. I legit was playing with ELS working. Closed the game. Came back a few minutes later and relaunched the game (Nothing was messed with or installed) and the lights do not work on any car that I have installed now. I've reinstalled the asi loaders, reinstalled scripthook V, reinstalled ELS to no avail. Not exactly sure what has caused this but it is very irritating, hoping to find a fix soon. I do have backups of the game but I'm not sure if that's an appropriate route to take right now.

@liveforliveries,

Post your own topic regarding the issue you have at hand.

I can assist you there.

Works fine now. You have to restart your computer after reinstalling the asi loaders within OpenIV. No need for a new topic when the problem was the exact same 😛

Technically, there is since it violates site guidelines to hijack a thread, even if the issue is the same. It just helps keep things from becoming cluttered and confusing. 🙂

P.S. This isn't me telling you you have to do something, since I am not part of the Community Moderation Team. But it is just to give you a bit of an explanation as to why you need to make your own thread.
