First, welcome to the Official LSPDFR Forums!

To install replace vehicles, the ytd and yft files (four total) should be installed here:
mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday22\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

Any XML files (ELS) should go here:
ELS/pack_default

Thanks i was trying that yesterday i did patchday14 and try 22 too but right after dlc.rpf is nothing is empty

That is fine. 22 is a universal replacement location. Just drag the vehicle files into there.

ok i will try that because when i get to dlc..rpf it doesn't open but ok i  will put them into patchday14 location thanks

I think @UnknownBastionmeans put them into Patchday22.

 

If nothing is after the dlc.rpf go to Patchday22 through the game files.

An option should come up that says "Copy to mods folder." Click that and see if appears after dlc.rpf in your mods folder

i get to the point where it says dlc.rpf but when i click that it pop out "how do you want to open this file" then says Loof for an app in microsoft store

and didn't not have a mods folder i just made one and copy the x64 in it  but the one that is inside the update foldder not the x64 that is outside

It sounds like you aren't using OpenIV. It can be found here

 

It is needed to access game files and that is what opens the files

i dont have that im using just Steam do i need that OpenIV

You just download it and then launch it. Then it will ask you where you have GTA 5 installed, you tell it where, and then you can use it to access files that you previously couldnt. 🙂

that's what I'm doing right know i just locate the game and working on it hope it works thanks guys if i get stuck again i let you know thanks again

i did everything step by step but now if i did right how can i find the vehicles in the game or how to access them

If you replaced them, it will be spawned in as a police vehicle. You can get them from the PD Station when going on-duty.

I didn't replace them but I did add them and can't find them in the police station 

This are the only files the were inside the folder for the police pack is only 2 police cars and I only install the ones the said sheriff only I didn't put the ones that said credits or windows or windowsblank

It looks like you aren't using OpenIV.

i did install open IV and i did the installation thru there

 

Could you attach a screenshot of where they have been installed?
