So I know for example if I buy gta through stream I can just copy the files and drag them over to my pc files to back them up. So let’s say my game crashes and I need to use my backup would now have to start pulling the game up from my pc file instead of steam? I’m lost how really how to backup my game

When you down load rage plugin hook for the first time it will ask you to backup the game so sometimes it will automaticly back up the game for you with steam you simply just hover over the game and right click then you will see a bar at the bottom of the bar will be a tab called propertys, click on propertys and then a bigger menu will pop up with a few tabs at the top of the screen, once you have that pulled up you should see a tab called game files, click on game files and there will be, a few tabs you can click on one of the tabs consists of backing up the game click on that tab and it will start backing up.

Yeah no Problem, And just so you know if you have a question on lspdfr or your game is having problem you can always post a thread topic at anytime!

I use Epic Games, so there isn't really a function for backing up game files other than Copy and Pasting the vanilla game files into another folder.

I have indeed seen this happen however I have not had this option myself. Not too big of a concern, though.

I don't know if the RAGE backup saves the modded or the vanilla game, but I recommend using an alternative method to backup. If the game has an issue to do with the modded game files, you will need the vanilla files to revert the changes.
