I am super new into pc gaming but have always wanted LSPDFR.  I am buying a pc and need to know what specs I need for the game.  I will be using my 4k tv to play on and this is all I am going to use the pc for.  Please help so I don't get screwed by these online sharks.

To run LSPDFR make sure you have some breathing space between what is recommended. For example it recommends 8GB of RAM but if you have 16GB of ram there would definitely be more breathing space as to run LSPDFR, more resources will be needed!

It also recommends a 2GB graphics card which I would say is a bit low for a good experience. Try and aim at least for 4!

And remember if you get any issues along the way just make a thread and I'm sure someone will be happy to help 😄

Check out some specs that R* have released for their 'recommended' specs. I would try and aim for something better than the recommended specs because LSPDFR likes to eat up memory. If you are using a 4K TV I've heard that it might require a better Video Card to play the game smoothly.

In fact, to even get the game running in 4K at 30fps you'll need a minimum of an AMD HD 7870 graphics card or NVidia GTX 760 with 2GB of VRAM. And that's according to Rockstar itself.

To run GTA 5 in 4K at 60fps Rockstar claims that you'll need "a high-end SLI or Crossfire setup". So be warned. Oh, and a 4K monitor or television of course.

I honestly don't care about it being in 4k.  I just want it to run smooth and have good graphics.

The guy ran his computer tests against those for GTA V and passed but that doesn't include mods nor LSPDFR. I just don't want to get ripped off and like I said I am BRAND new in the pc world of gaming.

hello just going to add a side not that considering gta 5 is a pretty realistic game in terms of graphics I would advise you to buy more storage (depending on how much storage the pc comes with) becuase gta 5 is 237 gigabites and windows computer sometime come with 287 gigabites. So when you do get the pc just check to see how much it comes with, just a suggestion. Good luck finding a pc. If you need help with installing mods you can just dm if you want.

my mistake I thought it was 237 sorry. Did you find a computer?

I am looking at one but the guy won't respond now.  I don't have much money to spend and this seemed reasonable but I am waiting for your guys's help and for him to answer.

That looks like it will run just fine to me, its better specs than mine and I run just fine on high with a visuals mod and several scripts.
If you have trouble with the installation process, or what to install and what not to install, just post a thread for it and someone will help you

This definitely looks like an upgrade especially in terms of the graphics card with 6GB. Would you play with that monitor as well?

I'd prefer to use my tv just cause this is my gaming room.  Plus I don't need the 4k video
