Texture Loss

Featured Replies

Ok so a recurring issue for me is major texture loss to the point of the entire map being invisible. This only happens when a bunch of police cars are in a single area (like after a pursuit). I'm wanting to try lowering the resolution of my cars but don't want to pay for paint.net.

Does anyone know of a free program similar to paint.net? Every free one I've tried is so riddled with ads I cant even see the changes I'm making.

If this doesn't work, what else (besides turning preloading models to false) what are some other fixes for texture loss people have found? I've tried everything else that comes up in searches.

I use GIMP - Batch process filter to resize my 4K police car textures to 2K. It is free and you can download it on the internet.

Spawning a lot of modded police cars can causing texture lost even on a powerful PC.
