Hi,

I have updated to LSPDFR 0.4.8 and every time I go to use a evidence marker from inventory LSPDFR crashes.

 

My rage log showing the crash is attached. 

Any help would be apprecaiated.

Rename mods to _mods and try again.

Yes, you can.

 

But your mods folder seems to be the cause of the crash here. Try it and let us know if it worked.

so it worked with my mods folder disabled

just installed my usual palm beach county vehicles.

ive used these vehicles before with my same mods folder and no issues. 

I just noticed there are dlc packs from the update folder that aren’t in my mods folder since the latest GTA update. For example my mods folder has patchday 21 as the last patchday where as my update folder has patchday 23

Why did you not update your mods folder? It can lead to issues.

It can't. Especially since PD23ng is not a valid Patchday, but a GROUP_UPDATE_STREAMING, which doesn't overwrite files, like the STARTUP GROUP does.

But still, isn't 22 a valid Patchday? 

I'm just saying. It's recommended that you update your mods folder.

 

22ng is the only valid one at the moment.

 

But that doesn't matter, if he is missing PD's in his mods folder, since they will just load from the vanilla archives.

 

 

I recommend removing whatever you put into PD23ng / dlcpacks / dlclist.

I haven’t installed anything in patchday 23. When I updated GTAV in Open IV I updated the update.rpf as Open IV suggested but that is it.

what do I update my mods folder with?

That is how you update it.

You could go and copy the Patchdays over, but that won't make much of a difference.

I wonder what the error is causing the crash at Menu Base. All other versions of LSPDFR have run fine with this exact mods folder.
