Script/plugin

Featured Replies

Script is either an ASI or a DLL that either goes in the root GTA folder or scripts folder.

a plug-in is a ragepluginhook script, and goes in either the plugins root folder or the plugins/LSPDFR folder.

They're synonymous.

Kind of true but in layman’s language a script is something that runs through scripthookv and a plug-in uses ragepluginhook. Plug-in normally refers to an LSPDFR specific mod whereas a script is often a generic GTA mod.

I currently have only some plugins installed, I turn them on using RAGEPluginHook.exe, and when I start GTA by normal way, I can still play without any modifications. Thats something I really like. How does it work with scripts?
