Originally I thought it was the open interiors that was to blame but after removing them all the repair shops do is stay closed Ive found it frustrating that I can only play up to mission where Michael gets his boat stolen when I get to the garage the game auto fails me say I failed to fix the car i dont know what to do...

what do you mean by restart.

its every garage from the city to the county

I restarted the game made a new save and up until Michael gets his boat stolen the moment after the cut scene ends where he takes the cab and Franklin is supposed to fix the car I get the "you failed to fix the car" automatic failure something is suppressing LS customs functions and I cant figure out what...

*This Method you can try if you would like to "skip" the mission:

I just found that you should restart or reinstall your game.

but that doesn't really fix the problem

 

I will try playing the game with mods disabled and see if that fixes anything

Hey @TheDman131,

 

sure. 

 

Save your old mods folder as backup.

Then you can create/update the mods folder with OpenIV and use your backup to install your "old" plugins in the new mods folder.

*EDIT: Just move them from your backup to your new mod folder and you should be set!

not sure if this helps but I unloaded the ASi through openiv and it worked fine but load it back in and the problem is back.

Hey @TheDman131,

 

Do you have the latest version of ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet?

Otherwise you have to deactivate these mods if you want to play the story.

 

It has always been the case that the story does not go well with mods!
