If the developers of LSPDFR & LCPDFR got together and had the budget I can  guarantee you they be able to make one kick ass police simulator. The current market for one is huge but there's lots of half assed titles out there, that don't even come close to being remotely realistic such as the disappointment of police sim patrol duty and enforcer and others. The only "good" ones out there and I am using this term as lose as I can, is police simulator imperio (which is more so an RTS then an actual police sim but it's fascinating!) and flashing lights (which is more so a emergency sim then it is a police sim but it gets the job done!) 

 

I'm not saying this is something they will do but it's nice to think what they could do compared to what others shy away from..

Developing a standalone game is not the same as developing a mod/plugin.

 

For standalone game, you have to have more crews to handle:

- Game arts

- Game assets

- Game sounds

- Game animations

- Game engine

 

Since GTA V already provides all of the above, developing plugin is relatively easy compared to the standalone game.

And I get that but could you agree that "if" they had all that plus the time  don't you think they  coul pull it off and they wouldn't have to go all out and instead open it up to the modding community so they could do whatever they please with it  such as new cars or sirens or skins ECT these are very talented people I think would do a good job and this is a site I trust so they have that going for them!

This has been discussed many a times before, and the conclusion is always the same: Making a game is hard. We do not have the people, time or money to create our own game. You can use the search function at the top right of each page of this site to search for all variations of "stand alone game, develop own game" etc to find most of these topics where you will find this discussed.

yeah I'm just wishing there was another alternative to gta 5 LSPDFR, the mod is great but gta 5 wasnt made to be a police sim so it crashes from time to time I just like to think what they could be capable of if given all the time money and resources at their disposal!

Нужно понимать, что разработчики не будут делать отдельный симулятор. Это очень большие производственные затраты. (Это первое). Для этого требуется довольно большая команда знающих разработчиков. Чего на самом деле у них нет. Грубо говоря, не ждите никакого отдельного симулятора. Разработчики уже многое сделали для нас.

Вряд ли найдутся такие люди. Мало кому интересна разработка да и собственно работа даже в не нашумевшей кампании. Просто согласись. Если даже и будут платить-то только на один раз. Вряд ле у них будет даже 100+ сотрудников.
