Hello, I success to install grammar police into my game, but when asking dispatch for whathever i want, he always answer "10-4"... (No backup, no check...). I also have the blip when hitting RMenu but I didn't have any notification.

I'm french but I want to try playing with american grammar police. I installed en-US language on my computer and followed all instruction you gave... Still not working, i'll try with the french version 😕

Can you tell me what's going wrong ?

EDIT : I didn't change anything and I just used headphone. It's working now, no further problem observed 😉

Hey guys, I got a little bit of a problem. When I put the files in the folder and start everything up, the plugin loads, but when I press the button no sound and nothing happens... Can anyone help me?

I'm having just a slight issue, not with getting the plugin working, but whenever I hold down the button, then I release it, there is a small delay between when I hit the button and the ending tone, when dispatch gets ready to respond to me. It's almost like I'm still holding down the button but I'm not. Could this have something to do with the "BabbleTimeout", "IntialSilenceTimeout" and "EndingSilenceTimeout" Options in the .ini? Are those new because I never had that gap in time before

You have to attach your RagePluginHook.log if you want help.

No, those are not new and haven't changed since GP was released. 

I had grammar police PTT button keybind to my controller. I was using 128 which should be righthumb it was working but as soon as I installed Simple trainer now it won't work. Can simple trainer be the cause? Please help

Hey, first the script is fire! I am loving it. So now to the point. I was trying to add a ped check and plate check from StopThePed plugin instead of using the one that is used by default in GP. But I am having real troubles with VisualStudion and I have no idea how to operate it. When I watch guides and follow them I find that I am missing some parts so I can't add reference or anything like that. So if anyone would help me with how to adopt StopThePed checks to the GP I would really appreciate it. Many thanks.

I just had some troubles with the info given about the ped, so on the StopThePed ped check the ped had no issues, but on the one through GP I had some warrants issued, which haven't showed up anywhere but through GP ped check. So I just wanted to keep it all tidy and neat and use only one main script for all the checks. I don't know if the cause was some other issue with scripts but I just wanted to do that, but wasn't quite able to do so. So if it is hard, its no big deal.

it doesnt recognize my voice anytime, it just says "say again", any tips?

Most likely cause is lack of audio.  Make sure you're using the Windows default input device and double-check the volume.

hm, i try that but when i put it to 100 it sets back to 92, maybe its my accent or something but cortana hears "requesting code three backup" as "requesting country backwards"

My issue is that Grammar Police seems to be working fine for the most part (usual problems include not recognizing the voice correctly) but lately when there is a Callout I could say "I am 10-97" or "I am on my way" and Dispatch would give me the call. Since yesterday the game hears that I say "10-97 accepting call" or "I am on my way/on route" and it shows me on the Status as "On Route", however the Callout doesn't update and some other AI officer takes the call supposingly, and so there is no marker to go to the call and the call is dropped. It is as if you can't accept the calls at all through voice suddenly, even if the voice works fine.

 

Any idea what is going on? Could it be that some callouts are from Simple Callouts mod and thus there is no voice line recognition for them?

 

 

EDIT: Another issue I have is that at random times (even when not talking to Dispatch) I hear a beeping tone/sound for ~1 second (no matter if I am in a car or on foot). Is it part of the mod or something bugs out?

Grammar Police doesn't have a 10-97, so I suspect you also have Immersive Dispatch which might be responsible for your edit. I've never heard of that.

 

As for the first issue, GP doesn't actually accept callouts because the LSPDFR API doesn't have a method for it. GP attempts to get around this by using AutoIt to simulate the Y keypress.  

 

Now it should read the keybind from your config, so just changing the keybind shouldn't break it. But if you remove the keybind or bind it to something already in use, that can break it. Also, sometimes reinstalling the AutoIt dll can resolve things.

 

If none of that works, please upload your RagePluginHook.log and I can take a look.
