I recently installed EFLC and els v5

when i turn on the lights they a re really dim and i can hardly see them

i went to the visualsettings.dat and i found the car.defaultlight.emissive.on line and changed it to 80.00

i launched the game and the lights were still messed up

i use the same cars in the normal gta 4 and the lights are really bright and the visualssttings and the same as in EFLC

You should get a custom visual settings.dat instead like download the LAPD Package based on Southland and the creator as a custom visual settings in their that is actually good and fixes this but this is not a bug it is because the visiualsettings were edited to make lights like that stand out I guesse btw you do not need those cars in the pack either just take the visualsettings.dat. reinstall ELS. Try different version like V5 or V6. If that doesnt work, try visual settings or fresh install of GTA :D
