Hello,

 

I am a new player of LSPDFR, I downloaded it a couple of days ago and I am with the "basic mod", I only have as plugins the partner and megaphone one. I`m having quite of fun playing the game but I saw a couple of videos where people is using the tow truck to pick-up cars destroyed after a pursuit, paramedics to pick-up dead bodies and so on.

Since I am new to these things, I do not  want to mess up too much on my own with the mods/plugins and whatever it is, I don`t really have the chance to download the game quite easly (lately my connection is going really bad), also because I don`t actually know how to do it properly without breaking the game.

So, I am asking you guys, if there is any chance that anyone of you could help me to install and to find more plugins to make the game real and to have a better experience with the gameplay (I don`t mind about the graphic improvement at all).

Your help will be really appreciated.

If you use LML or OpenIV, there is no need to be worried about overwriting stuff in the game, as the files are loaded seperately. Most of the mods on this site (and mods in general) come with a readme (an instruction for how to install the mod downloaded) - Part of modding is learning how to do the basics yourself, it may seem daunting at first but when you get going with the game modding, it really isn't too much to it. 

 

In my opinion, it's much better to ask if you're stuck on a specific mod which you are trying to install. As for mods to install, look to our downloads section, see which mods are highly rated or looks good to you. There sadly is no one-size fits all.

Thank for your reply.

I did as you suggested and I followed this video. It went all good until I got these errors.

Basically, I followed all the steps but when I go to install the plugins they requires other plugins and some of `em they conflict each other, so I don`t know if I can still play with these conflicts or not. Maybe I missed something in the video, I am not quite sure about it, but still I have this problem now.

Basically, it's saying that you shouldn't be using Arrest Manager and StopThePed together, as some (if not all) of AM's functions are also handled by STP.

 

My recommended course of action for resolving this particular problem would be to uninstall Arrest Manager, as it is not actively maintained (whereas Beijojo does still maintain StopThePed).

This, pretty much. The error message says what is wrong and it's up to you to fix it.

Okay guys, what you suggested me to do worked, but still my question is;

 

Is it possible that youtuber can run all of those plugins/mods without having problems?

No. But YouTubers have a magic tool called "editing" at their disposal. Probably not showing all their crashes 🙂

You can run both at the same time with little issues provided keymaps don't overlap. I've ran both before without issue, however I'd reinforce what is said above and remove Arrest Manager for now as Albo isn't reguarly updating it. There's another mod that adds more police stations and jails if you're using Arrest Manager for that aspect.

I removed Arrest Manager and some more and I kept Bejoijo`s plugins which I think they are better!
