Two Different Issues. Traffic Stops and Callouts.

Featured Replies

Got two problems this time. First off, I can't perform traffic stops. I have tried pressing shift behind the car and have tried pressing X on my controller but it doesn't work. Also, when I take one callout, it keeps me in a "busy" status once i complete it, even after i press the button, F7 and or DPAD down on my controller to change my status. Should I reinstall LCPDFR or what?

It seems like a large number of scripts are non functional in the Complete edition. LCPDFR is pretty bare compared to what it was before as a result. You can get ni your car and patrol and arrest people spawned by callouts but I've been unable to stop cars and any peds who are not part of a call out. Lots of script errors and crashes.

I don't think they're going to put much work into fixing this.

Same issue, the fix they recommended does not work. Why would they release it at such a stage? I'm thankful of'course to relive this mod but why release it if there won't be fixes?

Also having the same problem, the only thing good about LCPDFR right now is the fact that it updates all of the ASI loaders to load things like ENB's or other mods which were broke due to modders moving on from GTA IV, so hey, CryENB is back, so that's good

I was quite excited to go back to my routes and play some LCPDFR but the compatibility patch is so broken I don't see the point when you can't even pull over cars, which is one of the main features of the mod. I understand development has shifted toward GTA V and/or Red Dead Redemption but it's extremely disappointing being unable to play LCPDFR, especially as I consider GTA IV to be a superior game to GTA V in more ways than one.

Is there any work around for this? The only thing I can think of is to install a separate version of the game and install an older game patch (1.0.7.0), but the game runs like complete shit on modern hardware outside of the newest complete edition patch.
