So I installed an lspd car pack with a oiv and it worked fine but not when I installed it in mods folder and when I try to install sheriff cars with oiv they don't spawn in-game it's just the normal sherriff cars. I can't find the ytds or anything any of the patch days besides the first 2 and when I replaces those nothing happened, I looked in x64e and replaced those and nothing happened.... Same with the FBI cars... Help? Also I have GTA 5 on my PS4 and I'm willing to uninstall and reinstall as many time as I can on my pc, idrc about backups or anything so like I just want these cars in here 😞 whatever the cost

Are you trying to replace the cars in Patchday22ng?

Make sure you installed the .oiv package correctly.

 

Export the .oiv file to your desktop.

 

Then open OpenIV and click on edit mode, go to "Tool" tab, select install package; then choose the .oiv file you want to install, and click on install to mods folder. It will automatically install the mods for you.

There are no police vehicles in 22ng only in like the first few patch days, I've through every patch day and even when I replaces those manually nothing changes, and I'm just so confused cuz nothing is crashing, half the cars I wanted didn't even come with metas or variations, lspdfr is fine, plugins are fine like it seems like just nothing is changing I haven't reinstalled open4 yet but I did think MAYBE it could be that

I did all that. I've installed it to the mods AND outside and it says success but just won't load them in game. The only things is that I don't specifically remember clicking edit mode but would I even be able to install packages if I didnt?

You have to enable edit mode first by clicking on "edit." Then go to "Tool" - "install package." And follow the steps, only install it to the mods folder when being asked.

Oh my f××king god. It worked thanks and sorry guys I didn't think it would say success and act like it did it if I had forgot to click edit mode but I just did it and made sure to click edit mode and I got them, I'm so sorry lmao

There are not supposed to be Police Vehicles in there. If you are trying to install replace vehicles (Police slots or not) and they are not .OIV packages, you have to put them in the latest Patchday.
Which is 22ng.
