Tactical Fighter Wing Callouts

Featured Replies

I'd like to create a mod for LSPDFR using pre existing assets (I won't be creating my own models or anything, simply using pre-existing ones as a part of the mod). The premise of the mod is simple, and I think I could pull it off considering that I've been installing and using mods in GTA V for almost 3 years.

To my knowledge (and I may be wrong), nothing like this has ever been released. I think it would be really cool, and I'm looking for help.

Basically, the idea is for a callout mod (like coastal callouts, only far less advanced with less cool features), centered around flying sorties out of Fort Zancudo and the Aircraft Carrier. There would be training callouts for formation flying, aerial refueling drills, etc., also callouts where you intercept a plane or something, maybe a dialogue with the pilot of the plane you are intercepting. Maybe even a callout or two with proper dog fighting with enemy aircraft.

So my question is this; it doesn't seem to hard to pull this off considering that a lot of this stuff ^^ is in the base game, like the carrier, the Airforce Base, and stuff like that, and there are a lot of nice addon aircraft models. How would I write a script for this, how do I create a mod like this? I want to learn how to do it, and I think a lot of people would enjoy playing it. Would anyone like to help me?

First of all, we can't give you the full code. Second, you need a basic understanding of C#. I would love to help you, but you have to do something too. I recommend watching Albo's tutorials, I'm sure they will help ( also thanks @Albo1125 you made me start developing for Rage Plugin Hook and LSPDFR). If you have this knowledge, you can send me a PM or ping me here and I will see what I can do. @ktrain

@Darkmyre started something like this a while ago, don't think it ever got released.
