It shouldn't be required, because a script will find the C++ prerequisites, no matter what version or structure they were built for.

I don't think there is a differents. I went back to all my visual C++ and they all support x86,x64, and IA-64 based versions.

The ones you download from sites, i think they only support one based version. Mines comes from Microsoft under updates, what it says under information it supports the three i listed.

Where can i get the ELS for the cars i have downloaded into my download folder. I found two sites that have it, but one is down for updates and has been for 2 days. The other i try to register and the registering is not working on that site.

I'm just asking, if no one knows (on firefighter/EMS mods). I will ask the other toy soldiers in the GAME division. They might have the answer. I don't ask them first, I ask others that are not with Dr. Steel's Army and see if they can help me. If not I then go to the GAME division I'm with and see if they have the answer.

ELS and other modifications are off-topic in the support forum. If you really need discussion about ELS or other modifications use the Random forum or the GTA Series forum.

Regarding your issue, we have over thousands of successful installations and users of LCPDFR. I'm sorry it's not working for you, but the instructions given usually and should suffice.

Please only post again when you can include a G17 Media diagnostics report. If it's crashing, run it again and again until it creates a report.

We cannot help you without this report, like the page you viewed before creating this topic clearly said.

Finaly I got Diagnostic to work. Took me an 1 hour and 8 min for it to work. It kept saying G17 Media diagnostic has stopped working, over and over.

I think its best to have both installed, unless your on 32 bit in which case you should only install x86. (Once again I may be completely wrong)
